120 viruses and a hard drive crash later...

I'm back in the game.  Hi everyone!   MY COMPUTER CRASHED!!!!!
How in the world can you get 120 viruses?  It's not like I go to bad sites.  I visit YOU!
I know all of you don't have bugs.  LOL.  Anyway, it has been a crazy week.  I learned I am lost
without this here computer.  I rely on all the inspiration I receive from you.I can't tell you how many times
I walked into the office to get online and remembered that I couldn't.

I have so many new pictures to share.  I am totally revamping my studio.  I'm getting rid of so much stuff.
It's hard to let go but I feel like I should be on a episode of hoarders.  That scares me!
I will be posting pics soon.
Have a great day!

Flower garden pictures and a glimmer mist tutorial

Hello there everyone who visits my little blog.  I hope you all are doing well and staying cool.
It was 103 here today and will be hotter tomorrow.  Today I drove to Oakhurst to go grocery
shopping, "and stick my head in the freezer lol."  I Forgot My Wallet!!!!!  I got all the way through
the self checkout and did not have any way to pay.  I was so mad at myself.  Have you ever done
anything stupid like that?  Let me tell you it is not the first time I have done that.  LOL.
I have been playing with my camera again.   Here's some pictures for you.

The next picture if it loads correctly is my recyled can project.
I glued wooden beads under it .

That adds a little something extra to it.  To make your own glimmer mist you
need to get one of those travel spray bottles.  I got mine at target.  Fill it with
about 1/2 and inch, less or more if you like, of the paint you like.  Then get
Windsor & Newton iridescent medium and pour about an inch, then add water.
These instructions are not set in stone.  Play with it.
It really is a pretty way to add some shimmer to
your projects.  I like to decorate the bottle with
old sheet music .

If you have stuck with me this long thank you.  You
are a trouper.  Have a great evening.

Home Sweet Home

Hello and happy Thursday to you.  I have just been puttering around in my flower beds and
containers and playing with my camera.  I am not nearly as good a photographer as many of you.
But... i'm working on it.
Just wanted to share some flowers with you.  This is an old antique wheel barrow that
I have to prop up with that ugly brick in the background.  I surprised that these marigolds

haven't died in the heat here.  Here's another wheelbarrow filled with  vinca, lavender
and some yellow marigolds.
This white container is going to get a paint job and filled with some kind of overflowing lush
plant.  I don't know what yet.  This little frog was a  gift from my mother about

35 years ago.  I cherish it.  My mother died in 1994 so this is special to me.
This tin frog was a yard sale find.  Can you tell I like frogs?  LOL
Here is my favorite spot on the deck and my beautiful spider plant.  Next picture is
more random plants.  Thank you for taking time to visit me.  Tomorrow I am going
to take you into the studio and show you some "Green" projects I am working on and
my own version of glimmer mist with out the probaly high price tag of it.
Have a good evening and I will see you tomorrow.

Sweltering in the heat!

I don't know about you but I have had it with this heat. Soooo here is a nice shot of the snow to
cool us off.  Just looking at this picture lowers my body temperature.

When you walk outside it's like walking into a furnace.
If I have to go the grocery store you will find me in the
freezer section with my head in the door. I drive home with
an assortment of frozen foods tucked in my clothes.  Just kidding!

I haven't posted any art work in awhile so I will post some work that
I put in the shop up in Stockton
I hope you have a wonderful day where ever you are and
stay cool.
